Childcare on Your Schedule

Stepping Stones are the earliest-opening daycare centers in Seattle-Tacoma, with our Everett preschool campus welcoming welcoming little ones as early as 7:30AM. We understand that you work hard. We got you covered!

Child-Parent-Teacher

Begin: Ages 1 - 2

Between 12 and 24 months, children are gaining control of their bodies while building the foundations of curiosity, hands-on exploration, and independance. We cultivate a safe environment for children to walk steadily, climb safely, carry, and manipulate objects such as simple puzzles, toys and educational materials.

Nurture: Ages 2 - 4

This is the period of time where toddlers experience exponential growth, brain development and personality-related preferences. Our dedicated, caring educators engage the eager minds hungry for knowledge and exploration with sensory work, language, art, and simple mathematics to build a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning.

Prepare: Ages 4 - 6

At this age, children are brimming with confidence. They communicate complex ideas and preferences clearly, insist on independent exploration, and engage with the environment on their terms. Our program strengthens reading, writing, basic math, art and creativity to prepare children for Kindergarden and Grade School while fostering natural curiosity.

Cultivate: Ages 6 - 13

Children of this age are actively attending school, or are enrolled in a homeschooled curriculum. Stepping Stones Kids Academy provides after-school care with the goal to cultivate the knowledge attained during daytime learning, encouraging kids to explore concepts, hone their social-emotional growth, while supporting their classroom studies.

Our family has had an incredible experience at Stepping Stones Academy. We enrolled at their new location in June 2021, at the height of COVID, and both our kids continue there as of October 2024. Our elder child (5) has been attending for over 3 years, and our younger one (3) has been there for 2 years.Dharitri and Latika, the school's directors, have treated us like extended family, ensuring our kids feel loved and cared for. They've always been open to feedback, adjusting classes when needed, such as moving our older child to an advanced class to better match her learning needs.
