Monika Dittmann-Winnem

Teacher

Monika Dittmann-Winnem is part of the Stepping Stone Kids Academy's Everett preschool campus. She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1986 and went on to attend the University of Washington, where she studied German, child psychology, and abnormal psychology. During her time at UW, she joined Chi Omega and remains connected as an alumna.

Proud of her German heritage, Monika was the first in her family to be born in America. She comes from a large family of six and has an adult daughter named Brittany. Outside the classroom, she enjoys swimming, gardening, and working on puzzles. She spent many years on a swim team alongside her siblings.

One of Monika’s proudest memories is performing with her 50-member high school drill team. In 1986, the team earned a Superior rating and was the only team from Washington State to perform at the World’s Fair in Canada.
