Shariah Jenkins is a Lead Teacher for children ages 2–3 at Stepping Stone Kids Academy Redmond. She is currently studying Early Childhood Education and Development at Tacoma Community College and has experience working with young children in childcare settings. Shariah is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Her professional interests include child development, early learning, special education, and supporting children with diverse abilities and learning styles. She continues to strengthen her knowledge and skills through college coursework and professional training.
For Shariah, the most rewarding part of working at SSKA is building meaningful relationships with children and watching them learn, grow, and become more confident. She enjoys creating fun, hands-on experiences that allow children to explore, express their creativity, and feel comfortable being themselves.
Outside the classroom, Shariah enjoys spending time with family, painting, doing arts and crafts, listening to music, and exploring new activities. She also loves learning about child development and discovering fresh ideas to bring into the classroom.
